Breakfast paid and reserved the day before for €9. No buffet is present: no food, no one is present. Finally a person arrives and, having served me a hot chocolate, tells me it's €1 for a coffee. I told him that I paid €9 for breakfast. She tells me she doesn't know. I asked him to bring me different foods and I got a slice of ham, some defrosted bread and butter. The hotel website indicates free wifi, you have to ask for the real code which is normally specified in the room and the latter is very unstable, impossible to work in these conditions.

The hotel is modern, clean and centrally located next to transport, shops... That said its lacking in a few key areas that would make all the difference. The shower/bath has a very low ceiling with hot water constantly fluctuating. Rooms lack complimentary water bottles. Only three channels were available on the dated flatscreen tv. Several members of the breakfast crew were simply rude and/or arrogant when a polite attempt to be seated was made and/or coffee requested. By comparison, on a recent trip to Hong Kong I stayed at 2 separate hotels which provided a cell phone including free calls/data and free items from the bar fridge. The room rates was 30% less than the Alpha-Palmiers... A new standard in hotels has been set, let's hope they step up. If not, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

We stayed here on our way to Italy. We had a positive welcome but the room was pretty grim. Very very basic by standards today. No soap in the dispenser and tiny towels, but there was hot water. Breakfast was ok, fresh pastries and passable coffee. Would be more acceptable if very cheap which it wasn't probably because of the area.
