Residence CGH Le Village De Lessy

We did not know this residence. The website was promising. We were looking forward to it...YES BUT...Our stay turned into a real nightmare. A small selection... Upon our arrival, we discovered our room. Decor, cleanliness, equipment...nothing to report, everything is in accordance with the site description. First disappointment as soon as we go out onto the terrace. The buildings are arranged in an L-shape. You are 3 meters from your neighbor with whom you share conversations and cooking smells. No privacy, you have to confine yourself inside, door closed, to hope to have a little quiet and privacy. HOPE only, because you also have to deal with the poor soundproofing of the place and the incivility of your neighbors. Do not hope to get quiet by dialing 9. The reception closes at 8:00 PM. Your only option is to police your inconsiderate neighbors yourself at 11:30 PM... The building designer also had the brilliant idea of connecting 2 buildings with an outdoor walkway. Problem: Our apartment was right above it and the floor is made of planks. The children run and scream while crossing. Result: A permanent cacophony in the morning and evening. We asked to change rooms, which was done. The second evening, while we were on the terrace, a strong smell of sausages pushed us again to go back inside. We discovered, stunned, that our neighbor had placed his plancha balanced on the balcony, directly on the railing to prevent the smells from invading his apartment. On the SPA side, 1 out of 2 saunas works, same for the steam rooms, and do not hope to relax in the one that works because its temperature is unbearable. The pool is...confidential, it is more of a wading pool saturated with children. Last surprise, to get to the reception, to the covered parking, or elsewhere, you will have to take 3, 4, or even five elevators, and as many hallways. It is a real labyrinth, perfect for a scavenger hunt. In short, to be thorough, I must specify that the staff is attentive...when they are there.

We had a great stay! Ideal location for going to the village or for hiking. Indeed, the many elevators can be confusing at first, but everything is well explained upon arrival with a map ;) The wellness area is really great! The pool, which might seem a bit cool, is actually at an ideal temperature for cooling off after a good day of hiking. The residence is very beautiful and stylishly decorated. The view from our accommodation was just magnificent! The staff is very pleasant. It was a first experience with Cgh and we will return. Thanks for everything.

Remarkable family stay, very pleasant apartment for the 6 of us including a baby, even though we were on the first floor on the road side (no complaints). The residence is very well maintained, as are the fitness and aquatic areas (sauna and steam room). The staff is available and friendly. Great weather!!
