Residence Florimontane

Such friendly, informative hosts and a perfect location, with a sunny first floor west facing terrace, enjoying views of both the lake and the mountains. We enjoyed the parapenting, which is an easy 15 minute walk away, and we managed to walk to the local lakeside villages of Talloires and Menthon. We hired bikes from Nomad bikes, enjoyed the old city in Annecy and even got to watch some ice hockey. The breakfast at the hotel was an excellent continental spread, with the option of fantastic omelettes. We had a spacious room on the first floor, with a kitchenette, direct access to the terrace and reasonable WiFi.

We stayed at a separate small house, "la Maison Nico" that depends from the Residence and that can accommodate about 8 people. Amenities are modern, there is everything that you need, it was spotlessly clean, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. You can walk to reach the Planfait / Perroix paragliding landing, and the owner is a paragliding trainer, so he can also give you tips about the conditions and spots. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back with friends.

We found this an excellent alternative to B&B, the apartment had a bedroom, bathroom and separate kitchenette and a sitting area. This worked well as we were able to have a Pizza from across the road, and a takeaway from the local markets. The kitchen area looked brand new and the whole apartment was spotless. The only down side was the towels were a little tired and the TV only had French channels but otherwise excellent.
