Manoir Henri IV

Located away from the main roads, but not isolated, this hotel restaurant is well worth the trip. First of all the bucolic setting, the building... an authentic manor, a restaurant room with a monumental fireplace which distills its warmth in abundance and which allows you to eat with a quality menu. All with a warm welcome.

Rooms were ok but nothing special. A bit old fashioned but that was the intention. Restaurant seemed quite expensive and didn't have much business. We drove to the Rive Gauche. Not in the town so need a car to get anywhere else. Car park was surprisingly small. Welcome ok.

What a shame! Hotel looks beautiful from the outside. Unfortunately they were CLOSED when we arrived at the 2pm check in time. They simply would not open the hotel until 5pm!!! NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. Especially since there is nothing and nowhere To go in this area and it was pouring rain.
