Old -fashioned French logi, trying to be classick, nothing has happened here for many years when it comes to renovation (except for the bathroom). The grounds and garden around the hotel was very nice and quiet. We were here outside the season, only 3 rooms were taken, still we got a small room on the backside with no balcony. The bathroom was new and very good. We only had breakfast, which was ordinary and good, the restaurant is known to have good food. The staff was perhaps busy, not much talking or help. It was so quiet (outside the season), that it was almost creepy at night. The road from the main road to the hotel was completely dark/black, we had to pull out a mobilphone and put on it's light to find the way to the entrance. Lots of parkingspace. About 10-15 minutes walk to the town, which had meny nice restautants, bars and nice streets

What we expect of a Logis. Traditional hotel that could only be French. Convenient location in a large quiet garden area close to town centre. We were offered choice of two rooms as renovations are being carried out as part of a long term programme. We chose the unrenovated room as it had a terrace. Immaculate with comfortable beds, and an unusual orange bath in the en suite! Everything worked. Good restaurant with terrace and interesting menus reasonably priced. The cheese board was a marvel. Whilst Gap is not a tourist hot spot this hotel is ideal for a stop over or a base for exploring the area.

What a great location: in a small and very quiet park/garden-like enclave, just north of the old centre (a fifteen minute-walk away). The hotel has all you need for a pleasant stay: a warm and smiling welcome, a quick check in-procedure and a clean room with good beds and bathroom. The bonus is the restaurant at Guilt&Millau-level. Great service, fine wines and lovely food. Next morning during breakfast in the morning sun we decided life was good......
