Hotel Eden Chamonix

I’ve stayed at Hotel Eden before and after doing the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB). It was due to the recommendation from U-Tracks that I booked the hotel and I was expecting to be able to store my luggage free of charge in the hotel while doing the TMB as I’ve done previously in hotels where I stayed at the start and the end of a trip. To my astonishment, I was asked to pay EUR 20 per night to store my luggage. This was totally unacceptable, especially because it was no extra cost to the hotel to store my luggage for a day or for 10 days (as was the case with TMB). An otherwise pleasant stay turned to a very unpleasant experience for me as a result.

/∆ ATTENTION THIEVES/∆ They are used in the customer's bank account. Beware, there are much more honest hotels on Chamonix.

Great location, small but very comfortable and clean rooms. Great staff. Breakfast buffet great too. Lovely decor and cosy atmosphere.
