The perfect apartment for our family with our dog. Right in the heart of VT we parked in the P2 car park just a short walk away. We went to the bakery each morning for our fresh pastries, orange juice and baguettes. We ate out each night in a different restaurant each night, all dog friendly. Can’t wait to book again for next ski season!

Loyal customer of Montana Villages for more than 15 years in Val Thorens and Tignes, with stays already made in three, four and five stars, the experience has always been very satisfying overall. For the first time, however, in Montana, the five-star South, and this time the feeling is much more mixed. First important point: the hotel ski-in is not comfortable. The return is only via the South facing gondola, with the constraint not to miss its closure. In terms of location and ski-in/ski-out convenience, this is a real drawback. The apartment is overall very nice: spacious, comfortable, with good bedding. But several details are not at the expected level. Some bathroom equipment was broken and not repaired. Nothing blocking in use, but it gives the impression of negligence. The kitchen is clearly underequipped: there is a lack of utensils and you have to go ask for them at the reception. Another amazing point for a five-star: no vacuum cleaner in the apartment, only a broom, which is impractical during a week stay. The most disappointing point remains the management of the spa. The space in itself is successful: spacious, pleasant, with a quality hammam sauna and a large enough pool. But there is no regulation of customer behavior. Children jumping and screaming in the pool despite the ban, people entering saunas without towels, constant noise... and above all, no staff to supervise or remind the rules. A real anarchy in a place that is supposed to be dedicated to relaxation. This is all the more unfortunate because the establishment has potential and the brand has already proven itself. But for a five-star, the level of performance and management is clearly not up to expectations.
