Residence CGH La Reine des Pres

This is the third time we've been to this CGH. We were there 2 weeks and everything was perfect. Warm welcome, concerned for our well-being. Mention regarding the cleanliness of the commons and the apartment. Gym on top (elliptical bike was broken down). We love Samoëns and will be back 🥰 with pleasure.

I had never stayed in a CGH residence, but I had already come to Samoëns in another residence a few years ago. Firstly the location is absolutely perfect: halfway between the Grand Massif Express and the very friendly little Centre of Samoëns so everything is done on foot The welcome of the team is very pleasant. I was on the second week of the February holidays with my two children, I had an apartment with two bedrooms really perfect in terms of equipment: comfortable beds while this is often what is lacking sometimes in residences: average bedding, there nothing to say and God knows I am a pain with it so excellent. The pool, its 2 jaccuzis, 2 steam rooms and 2 saunas are really nice and quite rare in a residence. I was also able to test two treatments at the O CIMES spa on the first floor: Really perfect. I highly recommend this residence Only small thing to say in order that it improves: the wi-fi connection (at least in the apartment where I was) captured enough, but the speed was very low and did not allow current usage with children: Streaming. Meeting in Visio when we still have a little work, , youtube or Netflix for the kids... But it was maybe just in our apartment only and it’s true I didn’t talk about it especially at the reception, I should have:) The area at the reception with sofas and fireplace is very nice. It would be really great if it could stay open until 10 pm in the evening to enjoy it a little after dinner to settle down, play some family board games, make calm calls. 8pm is early. The apartment was clean if we didn't look around. Bed sheets were filled with dust and other dirt. They didn't want to sleep in it because of the bed cover not often cleaned I think... The negatives are: - impossibility to set the temperature of the apartment yourself -severe lack of storage - filth of the bedspread The positive points are: - the location ++ (near the GME and the village center, everything can be done on foot) - relaxation area (beautiful, clean, functional) - services (bread delivery at the door, fondue/raclette ready) The prices charged this week of carnival holidays are really excessive!
