Residence L'Oree des Pistes

Hello, we spent a few days on the residence the edge of the slopes, short stay but very good! relaxing, quiet place, clean residence and welcoming staff. The snow was there with a resort that offers (to our surprise) a very beautiful domain!

We stayed at Odalys L’Orée des Pistes in Superdévoluy and this was probably one of the worst experiences we had in a holiday home. The apartment was extremely poorly designed and visibly poorly maintained. The bed is uncomfortable, the closet has been mounted upside down (which practically prevents hanging several jackets) and the shower holder does not even hold: you have to hold the shower in your hand to wash. The kitchen is barely equipped: one pan for the whole apartment. Even preparing a simple dish like pasta becomes complicated. For a residence that sells the principle of autonomous housing, it is quite revealing. Service is just as problematic. Reception is only open two hours a day, making any attempt to report a problem almost impossible. When staff are present, they seem ill-informed and unconcerned. The swimming pool closes at 18:45, a schedule that is difficult to understand in a ski resort. The water does not inspire any desire to relax there and the general condition does not really evoke a well maintained space. Three individual changing rooms for a swimming pool that can accommodate dozens of people: totally unsuitable. The “bakery” service illustrates the general spirit of the place: you must order before 6pm at the reception to receive the next day industrial products, expensive and barely thawed. In the end, everything gives the impression of a residence operated to the bare minimum: insufficient facilities, questionable maintenance and reduced service. For a destination that is supposed to be a holiday, the experience is very far from expectations.
