My wife and I have just returned from a week at this resort. The rooms were clean and spacious and had fantastic views of the slopes and town. The staff were fantastic! Always helpful and smiling and could not do enough for you. With the view does come a long hike up to the residence but you can use the free ski bus pass pass provided and a good walk after a few après ski beers is worth it! Overall I would highly recommend this residence. Many thanks Graham and Jo

Functional French skiing apartments, 15 minutes walk from the centre of La Clusaz and the lifts with great views across the slopes. We would recommend leaving boots and skis at one of the many rental shops in the centre of town rather than lugging them back to the accommodation every night! By contrast with other reviews, we found the staff to be generally very friendly and helpful - putting up with my dreadful schoolboy French - or more usually smiling and speaking English when my vocab failed! They were also very helpful bringing a watering can of hot water when as a typical idiot brit I left my handbrake on and it froze solid. There are a few idiosyncracies to be aware of: 1) Linen. You are given a voucher and have to go and collect your sheets and towels at certain hours from the linen store. Not really a problem but a bit of a faff 2) Deposit. They take a deposit on arrival and won't return it until they have inspected your room at then end of your stay. 3) Parking. The hotel is at the end of the road and there aren't enough spaces for the number of rooms. However the staff seem to believe that they have priority over the spaces and had no hesitation in asking you to move even if there was nothing to indicate the space was reserved. They did this to Brits and French alike - a French gentleman told me this morning that he was instructed to move his car at 10pm to accommodate a staff car. Clearly it's not something worth stressing about on holiday, but my advice would be if possible to get there early to secure a spot.

Set up a steep road some distance from the shops and restaurants we found we needed to drive in to go to restaurants and shops. Layout of accommodation means that some south facing apartments have restricted view, due to one of the blocks in front. We were in a high room and so view was good. We would not return here due to problems getting to the apartments. We stayed in summer but the ski bus stop is some distance down a steep road so you need to be fit!
