Chapelle et Parc

Booked at Gallia London and we were put in the Chapel and Park building so a little disappointed to be away when on their site nothing explained it. Otherwise quiet room seen on castle, spacious but just guard rail no real balcony as advertised in the description. 180 bed, storage, separate toilet. Cleaning succinct for a 4* the 2 mornings we had to call the maid because forget cleaning and emptying garbage. TV screen too small and put Channel or Netflix for example. Inn very well located next to the sanctuary, parking very well. Great spa but a little expensive. Billiards out of order because black ball is missing and the queues are in poor condition not normal for this style of Pension. But normally order by the management we will see during our next stay. I will come back to that.

Great location, staff and facilities. It is suffering as all such facilities are with covid. However all guests are welcomed effusively and all requests are dealt with in a friendly and courteous manner. The dining room is really special, decorated in the old style it has little private dining areas which are a special to eat in. Food, although limited in choice, is excellent. The wine list is similarly limited but there is sufficient to meet all tastes. Located in close proximity to the grotto, it is located within walking distance of all the sites. I can recommend this hotel without reservation as the ideal location for your visit to Lourdes.

Our tour group stayed here1 night and on 1st sight, we expected the hotel to be as nice inside as it was outside and we are pleased to confirm that it was. The hotel was located close to everything we wanted to see. Our room was on the small side, but we still had ample room for a chair, desk and a small balcony. If it were a bit warmer, we would have used the balcony. The room was quiet, clean and provided us with all the amenities we required. We had a very good supper and breakfast buffet the following morning. Food was excellent and the portions were more than ample.
