This hotel is in a fabulous location to allow you to walk to all the religious sites you would want to while in Lourdes. Hotel is clean, warm, housekeeping service is fabulous. Only ate breakfast everyday as out rest of time, breakfast was continental and standard you would expect. The jewel in the crown of this hotel apart from location is Pascal who is owner, cook, barman, general dogsbody and overall a wonderful human being. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would have no hesitation in staying there again.

we used this hotel before and after a walking trip further east in the Pyrenees, because Lourdes has very good transportation to Paris and elsewhere, and local buses to the ski towns we walked from. It's clean and quiet; walkable location. the owner is super nice and speaks perfect English. It's not a fancy hotel.

Very poor experience at this hotel on our 5 night stay - we arrived late at 9pm after being held up by rail strike and were met by grumpy owner who was not happy we had stated arrival at 7pm - reception opened to 10pm ???? We could not shower first night as water freezing and room and corridors artic cold. Beds were clean and bathroom ok also although grout looked dirty. This hotel is just one step up from hostel accommodation in our opinion. Owner sat cuddling his cat and dog running about breakfast area. Breakfast ok - no fresh fruit and when we asked for another croissant the owner was affronted. No restaurant facilities offered to us and we were not shown any facilities at hotel. Owner complained constantly about how quiet the hotel was and we felt as the only customers and inconvenience. Hotel is a steep climb back from the grotto. We will definately not be returning and would not recommend.
