Saint Christophe

I am currently staying here but my plug socket doesnt work!so cannot charge phone or make tea!have asked a man i presume in charge with my limited french and backup of google translate with no help!unfortunately fee is nonrefundable!luckily my mum is here and i am with a pilgrimage but i wouldnt advise staying here its not a safe looking place!

I stayed at hotel Christophe for 5 nights and very much enjoyed the stay. I went in between the season as I cannot take too many tourists at once and because everything is more personal and better value for money. I stayed in a lovely room overlooking the Boulevard to the front from my balcony and from the back (garden) I could see the castle 😄. The hotel was very clean, I had my towels changed at least 3 times and my bedding twice. The hotel manager Mr Malek Is a lovely man with good English and a wonderful personality. I had breakfast once and coffee 4 times. I highly recommend the coffee which tastes excellent 😊 and is good value for money. The breakfast is simple but yummy croissant, rolls, butter and jam and lovely coffee as stated. Being a back packer I do not usually tip much but they would have deserved it! If you have money be generous. The best feature of the hotel is the location, the castle is literally round the corner from the hotel and the Basilica is a very short walk 😄. Everything us relatively easy to get to. I went to Garvanie, the cave Grottes Bertharram , the lake and many more things like Pau and pick the jure. I will be back and would definitely stay at hotel St Christophe again 😄 Sent from my iPhone

stayed one night in July on our way to SJPD. Thoroughly misleading images and content on bookings.com. Urgently needs an overhaul. Pilgrims not be comfortable at this property. cannot recommend. M, July 2017
