Residence Pyrenees Zenith

I was there with my family for 3 nights. Great location for exploring the Pyrenees (Tourmalet, Gavarnie, Pont d'Espagne) ... The apartments are good, although the rooms are small. Kitchen. It has a small pool.

When we booked our apartment we thought we had reserved a room with a balcony with a view. Instead we were presented with a room on the ground floor with a view of the car park. The beds consisted of a pull out sofa bed which was pretty rubbish to sleep on and I was kept awake by the fridge as our sleeping quarters were a meter away from the kitchen quarters. I asked if we could have another room with a bit more privacy but a ladyin the office sharply said they were full. This wasn't true. any way Luz was a really lovely town and after two nights sleeping in tent on the Col de Tourmalet.We were just glad of a bath and a bed for the night.

A rather ugly and badly built modern heap of apartments that rather ruin what is otherwise a beautiful part of town. Expect very small rooms with cheap furnishings. One room had no door and the beds were too small for an adult. The kitchen facilities were also very basic with no oven just a microwave and a hot plate. All in All I would say that at best it is clean and adequate. PS Free WiFi doesn't reach very many of the apartments so you need to go to reception which is usually shut.
