Hotel Stella

It is a very good hotel for groups. Very clean, staff super friendly and very willing to answer all questions and help wherever they could. My wife and I were part of a. 30+ group on a pilgrimage from the UK. The rest of the group were on full board basis and the food was very basic, breakfast same each day with very limited selection . Dinner we were told was pretty bland. But the location is excellent, a 10 minute walk to the sanctuary.

Just returned from a short visit to the Sanctuary and I can certainly recommend this Hotel very close to both the various souvenir shops, restaurants and indeed, the Sanctuary. We were greeted at reception by the kind Stephanie who speaks in Italian. The rooms have been recently renovated. Our double room had a nice glass shower with modern sink (hair dryer included) while the toilet remained in another door. While the double room of other friends had a nice big bathroom with also the toilet, all new. A little "poor" the decor of the bedroom. The carpet is found in the rooms, corridors, reception and restaurant area. As for the catering, good breakfast (hot drinks at the machines), lunch and dinner water including three-course menu, a first course (good pasta) or an appetizer, a second course and a dessert. Recommendation for a few days!! I will return.

The hotel is located just 10 minutes walk to the Lourdes sanctuary and the city centre. The rooms are just tright for 2 and the bathrooms are quite large and very clean. The only issue with the room was that you need to ask them to switch the AC on or else it will always be switched off. The staff were efficient and quite accommodating. The breakfast is very basic but the 3 course dinner was quite nice. Also there is no parking and you will have to drive a short distance away. Overall we would definetly stay here again if we travel to Lourdes.
