Residence les Jardins de la Madragde

It is the cheapest place around. And it can be seen. Beds are lousy. The two bunk beds were in the hallway so that you had to walk pass them on the way out. The bed sofa was hard. The studio is good for two people NOT more. We were three and that was too much because of the beds.

Helene is a nice receptionist.Residence is situated near shops,a bakery,restaurants and the marina.There was a free car park across the street but I would say only off season-we stayed in Residence for a week in early June. The Residence is quite dated but clean enough and the kichenette is well-equipped. The pool is nice and the area around it too,the activities room is ok. It's a pity that the place is not open 24/7.One day the reception has not been opened at all and we did not know about it because we cannot read French.We felt like we should have been informed about it by a member of staff. The welcoming letter upon arrival was again only in French and none a member of staff to explain anything-we had to let ourselves in because the reception closes on Sunday at 12pm. The pool closes at 7pm!!!The same the activities room!!!This is way too early!There was not even a table and chairs to sit down and relax after 7pm! I cannot imagine this place in a high season.It must be packed with people and children who have no place to play from 7pm. The bed linens were included in the price but towels were not included in the price.

As apartments go it is ok, in the middle of the port area so close to everything. Room is basic, however 2 wks on a sofa bed was not great! Lovely pool that gets the sun from 10am - 7pm. Gets noisy on check out day from 7 am, so take your ear plugs!
