Brit Hotel Rennes Cesson - Le Floreal

Room reserved for 3 nights during a surprise heatwave. Advertised with air conditioning, perfect. On the first night, the air conditioning makes a terrible noise and barely cools, even set to the coldest and at maximum power. I report it the next morning, and I am told that a technician will come during the day. In the evening, I return, no improvement. I take apart the filter, it is clean, no dust. I look inside the air conditioning unit, packed with dust bunnies, certainly there for several years. Basically, the air conditioning units are not cleaned regularly, so it is no surprise that they are ineffective. I went back down to complain at the front desk, but it was already closed for the night. On the second morning, I complain, with a photo of the inside of the air conditioning as evidence, and then I am offered a new room. It might be time!

Welcoming staff, very clean room, comfortable bedding, varied breakfast. Yeah, good. Nice stay.

A super clean hotel, very quiet , one night to rest and be very well received!! The little extra: a coffee machine with delicious milk "foam" coffees to wake up gently!!
