Domaine Des Ormes

We just came home after a really nice holiday here. Two points one good and one not so good for us anyway. Our 4 year old daughter has celiac and we couldn’t eat out in any restaurant as there was nothing suitable for her to eat, some options were chicken salad, sea bass and steak. Like she is 4 years old and while she does eat well, this would have not been something she would have liked to eat. It would have been great if they had a dedicated fryer even for chips, which would have allowed us to go out. There was no gluten free pizza in the pizzeria, again something that could be easily introduced. We stayed in the new mobile homes, which are great and have a kitchen. She was sad we couldn’t eat any where, so would be great if you you could provide some more child friendly options in at least one of you're restaurant's. The good. Our other daughter became a bit unwell with an eye infection. The hotel receptionist was so incredible at arranging a Drs appointment for her, that day. And it was a Saturday. She clearly communicated to us, what was going on and did everything. It is so reassuring to know that if your child needs a dr that the resort are so helpful at organising this. Especially as we don’t speak French. It reduces a lot of anxiety, so thank you again. Otherwise it was great, the pools, and our 4 year old did the climbing courses most days. The staff all nice. We would come again. Fingers crossed for more gluten free food x

Brillant place! Lots of different facilities and the dome swimming pool is fantastic! Staff were all excellent! Recommend the Pizzas!

Have been many times in our motorhome, usually earlier in the season and it is a lovely place. Lots to do and kids love it. Nice restaurants, pools, activities and it's all set in woodland. WARNING if you bring your dog please be aware in July and August that there is a large entertainment show every Friday night, very specular however it ends with a very loud fireworks display! When I say loud I really mean LOUD. Terrified our dog. She slipped her lead and ran into the woods, we were lucky to find her. It was traumatic, I thought my dog was gone for good :( . I was never warned about this even though I had to give dog details on check in. When I complained about it they tried to say I had been given a warning but I most definitely had not otherwise I wouldn't have been walking her at 11pm. They had said they will warn about it in future but just be careful if you have a dog and are there on a Friday night in high season. Our stay was spoiled and the dog has been very scared of noise since.
