Hotel De La Mer

I booked this hotel on the day a few weeks ago whilst we were in France. We walked into the hotel and a lady came out of the shop next to it and stated “no no no I have cancelled your booking. I had paid for this booking already!! She then ushered us out of the reception and locked the doors. We we then had to find another hotel. I am still trying to get my money back, the hotel will not repond to my emails etc, and PayPal think I just didn’t turn up for my booking. In short do not book this hotel. However St Malo was amazing

Terrible experience. !loud live music , so impossible to sleep .rooms were not booked as requested . Very dissapointing

The only positive, clean room BUT impossible to sleep, music to break everything in the evening until I went down to complain at 11pm and woke up with fanfare at 6am with the crack of the parquet above. No insulation, no air conditioning, room that overlooks a noisy street and not at all beachfront. We needed a night's rest after a long drive it's missed. Ineligible for hospitality professionals, salsa club and hospitality are not compatible.
