the positives the silence the spacious room the castle is 1 km away on foot the original concept and the rather privileged location the negatives there are 2 accesses, above and below. a bit confusing. Both are indicated from the road. The one below is preceded by a real mess the terrace is in disarray with various loose items. A feeling of lack of maintenance. Dog droppings on the lawn are clearly left behind not recently. The owner's dogs are, in fact, harmless, I must clarify. Lighting in the rooms is enigmatic and ineffective. Reception was adequate, nothing more. A simple "How was your stay?" upon departure is never too much. The payment terminal presents several tipping options with a gaze that is more than insistent to avoid the button without a tip. In 30 years of professional activity with over 90 days of travel per year, I have never experienced this. And no, in France it is not customary to ask for a tip for hotel services, I am formal about that. Conclusion: acceptable, but I would not return nor would I recommend it to my acquaintances.

Very quiet hotel with about ten troglodyte rooms. Eight days spent under the rock. A very beautiful experience with a large room and a shower taken under the rock. Truly exceptional. Very kind couple who owns the hotel and very available to assist. Gargantuan breakfast. An experience that is absolutely worth trying.

Beautiful hotel from the outside, with lots of little nooks and crannies, greenery, a nice swimming pool, really charming but rather disappointed with our room ( Manon ) certainly spacious, clean and good bedding but without much charm to already have an experience in another troglodyte hotel where the tuffeau is present without a kind of coating on the walls as here and several small details like a pricked mirror but not very old to be mercury, small plastic plant pots, a wardrobe and a mini fridge in the bathroom that lived well, splinters of plywood on the plan of the sinks, rust around the taps, toilet all white without any decoration... in short nothing very attractive and it is really a shame! Otherwise Pleasant Welcoming.
