An unforgettable hotel experience, unfortunately We had booked a 20 m² room on Booking for €75, rather than the 11 m² room offered at €50, since we were traveling with a 4-year-old child and a dog. Upon our arrival, the front desk staff—smiling and kind, which constitutes just about all of the establishment's positive points—handed us the keys to an 11 m² room. We therefore returned to the reception to point out this slight difference between "20 m²" and "11 m²". We were told that there were no more 20 m² rooms left, before finally being assigned connecting rooms 14 and 16. A solution that could have been satisfactory if the rooms had been clean, habitable, or simply compatible with the presence of human beings. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a delicate scent combining mustiness, mold, and stale tobacco. A bold olfactory ambiance, probably difficult to reproduce intentionally. We then discovered the toilet, already occupied. And not by a bit of paper or a few drops of urine. The bowl was full of excrement which, given its state, did not seem to date from the previous guest's visit, but rather from an era when the flush toilet had not yet been invented. Upon lifting the plastic seat, we discovered an entirely brown underside. The inside of the bowl was just as disgusting. We obviously took photos. Our 4-year-old son refused to pee in it. At that age and in the middle of a "pee-poop" phase, managing to disgust a child with a toilet is quite a remarkable performance. The rest of the bathroom continued in the same artistic direction: cracked sink covered in limescale, faucets whose last cleaning seemed to date back to the age of the dinosaurs… But at this stage, we were still prepared to show some probably excessive indulgence. The real masterpiece was waiting for us at bedtime. In room 16, I noticed large dark stains through the sheet used as a fitted sheet. So I lifted the sheet. In hindsight, living in ignorance might have been preferable. The mattress pad was covered in huge dark red and purplish stains, very strongly suggesting blood. Visually, it felt more like being at a crime scene than in a hotel room. Under the mattress pad, the mattress was covered in brown and yellowish stains and rings, all accompanied by an odor capable of waking the dead—which would have at least allowed us to ask them what had happened on that bed. We checked the second double bed, in room 14, with the naive hope that it would be in better condition. The "mattress pad" consisted of a sort of disposable paper sheet, similar to the one you roll out on a medical examination table. The mattress underneath was even worse. We were then able to engage in a family activity that was as fun as it was unexpected: "let's find the least filthy corner for our child to sleep in." The icing on the cake arrived early in the morning, when we were woken up by a nocturnal visitor: a huge cockroach in the room. And when we say huge, we are not exaggerating. We have lived in French Guiana, we travel regularly, and we have already encountered some particularly ambitious cockroaches. This one clearly had nothing to envy them for. This encounter marked the end of our stay. We left the hotel as quickly as possible at 6:30 a.m., happy to lose the price of the room rather than a few more years of life expectancy. We have numerous photos and videos of the state of the premises and intend to send them to the competent health authorities. We are also delighted not to have booked breakfast. When a cockroach of that size is walking around the rooms calmly, we prefer not to imagine the activities offered in the kitchen. However, we are not particularly difficult. We travel often, have lived in the tropics, and know perfectly well how to tell the difference between a modest hotel, an aging establishment, and a truly unsanitary place. Here, it is not a matter of outdated decor or a few traces of limescale. Between the full toilets, the soiled mattresses, the odors, the general filth, and the cockroaches, the conditions seemed to us to present a real risk to the guests. A memorable experience, then, but certainly not for the right reasons. Avoid at all costs.

Very poor. Room that reeks of tobacco, toilet bezel broken, Vmc HS, dirty walls, shower small and full of limestone, sink without crowd. Very poorly soundproofed. Door lock not secure.

Walls poorly soundproofed (you can hear the snoring of the neighbor), flushed and flowing all night. Day on the front door (very audible outside noise). Late parking noises if you get up early. Toilet glasses broken... In short, even if the rate is "low cost", there are major deficiencies on the routine maintenance of the room (whether for hygiene or maintenance).
