Hotel De Lunivers

The hotel is located in the city center, on an avenue and in front of the town hall. The room we stayed in was spacious and bright, well soundproofed and with the necessary services. The breakfast is fine, although there is a lack of staff to attend to the service.

Awful experience and we wish we had read an honest review like this before staying there. The hotel is filthy throughout the lobby, hallways, elevator and room (see photos) below. Mold in the shower is completely unacceptable and a health risk. When we pointed this out to the front desk manager he said they were planning a renovation in the future, that doesn't help guests staying there now! Worst really was how rude they were at the front desk. Especially rude to Americans and Brits so don't stay there unless you want to be insulted. Tours is a lovely welcoming city to and this was the only place that went out of their way to be rude to English speakers.

Hotel very well located near the train station but a bit outdated despite some nice features, particularly the building. The rooms are comfortable, but the carpets and the paint are worn out. An interior decoration that is somewhat baroque without much coherence. The breakfast is frankly bad: the room is small and the products are of poor quality. Moreover, there is little choice. Nice meeting space. In short, some positives and some negatives.
