MERCURE CENTRE

I stayed with my family for 6 nights in the last week of May 2026. Clean rooms and good breakfast. Unfortunately, on the day of our arrival, before we presented ourselves at the hotel, we were informed that the air conditioning was out of service. Small fans were placed in the rooms, but they did not have a significant effect (considering it was the week with a constant 35°C throughout the day)... Still, in the 7 days of our stay, were they not able to fix the air conditioning system? It may be, but at this point, I do not see why we had to pay the full price considering we did not benefit from a declared service. Another problem is the issue of parking. On the website and during the booking process, we were told that the cost for parking was 15 euros per day. After check-out, we found a charge for parking of 60 euros per day, which is outrageous. Although we found ourselves quite well, I do not think I will recommend this establishment.

The air conditioning has been broken for several weeks, and the repair will not be available for a good month, with only a small fan provided that just circulates the very hot air from the rooms. Not what one expects from a 4-star hotel. A small discount upon departure. Terrible working conditions for the staff, who, on the other hand, were friendly and dedicated. The breakfast was quite decent.

Reservation of a room with a double bed... what a disappointment 😔! The hotel does not at all have the standard of a 4-star establishment. Dull room, with a view of the train tracks... The toilets were dirty. The photos of the rooms do not match reality. Upon our departure, we kindly reported all these inconveniences to the front desk. By explaining to them that if we conducted the inventory, it was not for us (we did not request any commercial gesture) but rather for their future clients. We were offered a small bottle of water as a commercial gesture 🤣🤣 which we, of course, refused 😅!!! First and last time I book at a Mercure hotel.🙄
