Moncontour Active Park

Booking via a Wonderbox, called to book, we were told not to book Arriving on site, the young people told us that the manager was not there and they were not taking any, to come back later!!! It ended up getting done, but these young people made us wait for the snack menu that was planned and included, and to top it off, without fries!!!!

Do not rent a mobile home at this campsite; I completely understand that this campsite is not expensive and that you have to pay the price if you want something good, but this is really not respectful at all toward the clientele. Our mobile home was dilapidated, which I can understand, but what I cannot understand is the filth; grime was coming out of the shower walls, the toilet was leaking, the TV had no reception, the floor was disgusting, the cupboards were filthy too with traces from the people before us, and I am still looking for the Wi-Fi.... The staff is super nice; I wonder how they manage to put up with this... The campsite is really nice and it's a change of scenery; we were able to talk with those living in caravans who enjoy their stay, but in the mobile homes, it's a different story. Furthermore, plan on bringing insect spray because there is a big, big, big problem with cockroaches; it's a real invasion in the accommodation, and also plan on bringing A/C and a fan. In short, the only things I appreciated were the staff and the exterior; being in the forest is great, the lake is nice too, it's very pretty, but the rest was a real ordeal. My son and his cousins went to the ski lift snack bar and loved the snack bar; the wraps are very good, huge, and fresh; they were happy, but mobile home 105 was a horror, there you go...

Horrible! Cottage not clean at all even my house in works is cleaner, coffee maker not functional oven filled with dirt, duvet 1 person for a bed 2 places, The dishwasher impossible to operate as soon as you want to start it all circuitous, No umbrella for the terrace, More than average bedding, Bathroom from the Middle Ages, Toilet wobbly and dirty, Maybe it would be nice to revise the place! Upon handing over the keys all the problems stated but it seems normal for the manager because he did not even have to apologize, To top it all off this accommodation acts as Noah’s ark with its share of spider beds and bugs of all kinds, In short if you want to spend a good weekend change destination!
