Adagio Access Grenoble

Hotel advertised with parking, but on arrival, no parking available. We are forced to park either on the street or in the parking lot of a shopping center right next to the hotel. We choose the car park that we think is the best option. When we arrive, the environment is not very reassuring, with syringes on the ground (clearly not for medical use). We asked the receptionist if we could leave the car in this parking lot, to which he told us that yes without worry. The hotel itself is quite old. Breakfast is very limited in choice. The reception and service remain decent, and so is the cleanliness — in view of some reviews, we were even lucky on both our rooms (we escaped the cockroaches, bugs, cigarette smells, salty mentioned in most reviews) On the other hand, very unpleasant surprise the next morning. After a late arrival at 2am and a departure at 7.30am, we find our vandalized vehicle: broken window and stolen belongings. In view of the reaction of the staff, other opinions, as well as the exchanges with the repairer and others on site (broken cars, stolen batteries, etc.), this unfortunately seems common in the hotel and in the city, especially for vehicles registered outside the area. Go your way.

Despite the area not being very pretty, the hotel is well located at the foot of the tramway and a shopping center. Slept well 3 nights. Floor 7 renovated bedroom, large space, equipped kitchenette. Too bad there is no kettle, it's very practical. Functional bathroom with bathtub and towel dryer + hair dryer. Balcony. Attractive price, and much appreciated parking in the basement.

Nothing special the room is very old seems like to be at least clean but under the bed is so dirty the staff is friendly and speak little bit English.. no bar service at all location close to the center
