Great hotel. Too bad that from 8:15 PM at dinner there is no more choice

Following my two-week stay, I can specify the strengths and weaknesses of this hotel. Strength: smiling staff, pleasant and well-equipped pool, I advise you to book the accessible rooms which are more spacious and better equipped, pleasant, quality linens, overall nice decor, quality dining room... Weakness: cleaning done superficially once a week, do not count on them to make your bed, it is up to you to manage the organization of your room, dusting is done superficially, it is up to you to empty your trash, regarding the catering the buffets are repetitive, chaotic organization, you can strongly feel a lack of staff supervision for food replenishment as well as dishes, insufficient number of staff to clear and reset tables, stained and uncleaned seats, an unpleasant point concerns parking where the municipal police do not hesitate to ticket you regularly, high parking meter price, conclusion the hotel parking lot is too small compared to the number of existing rooms, elevator too fast so waiting.... Plan not to be in the center of the resort, free shuttle or go down by car if you intend to go quickly to the city center... Conclusion: great effort in supervision for these young people who are doing their best, though an amateurism is felt; achieve a balanced restoration, better study nutritional aspects, think about guests staying for two weeks...

We unfortunately returned quite disappointed from our stay at Belambra Les Crêtes (2 Alpes). The center is objectively very beautiful: the decor is modern, the common areas are well-maintained and give an excellent first impression. Unfortunately, once past that aspect, the experience did not live up to expectations. We were staying on the 8th floor, but that did not prevent us from being woken up every morning between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. by supplier deliveries. Added to this was a constant blower noise. For a mountain getaway that is supposed to be relaxing, it is a real shame. The room was also poorly designed. The area where our children slept, with the two bunk beds, did not have any windows. They therefore had to endure both the noise from the hallway and stifling heat. The lack of ventilation was also noticeable in the bathroom, where an unpleasant odor persisted. Another disappointing point: no housekeeping was done during the entire week. Given the price of the stay, a minimum amount of maintenance during the week would have been appreciated. Our stay was also disrupted by the Tour de France passing through. We obviously understand that Belambra is not responsible for this event, but we were surprised by the lack of reliable information provided by the front desk. The answers changed depending on who we spoke to, and we finally had to turn to the tourist office, which gave us precise and useful information well before Belambra did. The young people at the front desk are clearly doing their best and are always pleasant, but you can tell they are not being supported enough. Management does not seem to be keeping up, and that is felt in the organization. Moreover, while reading other reviews after our stay, I realized that this remark came up regularly. Finally, we were not won over by the Les Deux Alpes resort. We found it to have little charm and the club is quite far from the center. There is indeed a free shuttle, but with a long break at lunchtime, which ultimately makes it impractical. This disappointment is all the more marked because we had previously stayed at the Village Club Vacances du Soleil in Oz-en-Oisans, where we had spent an excellent vacation. Although much more sober in terms of decor, the overall experience was much more pleasant. Fortunately, not everything is a loss. The staff really deserves to be highlighted: everyone was extremely kind, smiling, and helpful. The restaurant and kitchen teams are particularly pleasant, the meals are of good quality, and the pool area is a real strong point. That is precisely what is frustrating: you can feel that the teams on-site are doing their best, but they are not being helped by management. It is therefore an establishment that I would not recommend, despite the qualities of its staff.
