Lyon Ouest Hotel

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. It is close to a river taxi, which is lovely because it is not close to the town center. A very scenic location along the tree line river bank. I would visit again, just not in hot weather as the temperature control is a placebo. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

I'm writing on the eve of my fourth visit to this hotel. The choice was not accidental. A riverside hotel in a very quiet location. Near the alley where you can walk with the dog (our Bonja is always with us on travels) and take a run yourself. Rooms are spacious, no air conditioning problems. The hotel has its own underground parking, which is very important when traveling by expensive car filled with luggage. It's a stone's throw away from stopping public transport. There's a very well-known restaurant nearby, so there's no problem with dinner. But that's not the point. The hotel is the people who work there. ..I'll be honest, I wanted to call my review "Francesco's Ode." All the receptionists are friendly, but the best is Francesco. Shall I call a cab? Please, please! Find the nearest car wash? Please, please! It feels like you're not in a hotel, but at the house of friends who are always ready to come to the rescue. A slight disadvantage is a small selection of breakfast dishes. The hotel is in France, and the cheeses are just emmental in a package.

Regular guest in the professional setting, the hotel is pleasant, the rooms are well equipped (bedding, hair dryer, straightener, courtesy tray). Full breakfast. Refreshment and fast food fridge available. The staff is very nice, available and smiling.
