Hostellerie De La Roseraie

Very welcoming hotel. We went there for the second time and again we were made very welcoming welcome. The hotel has Wi-Fi, private parking and a covered bicycle storage (not closed but only visible to guests). We stayed in a room consisting of a bedroom, bathroom with walk-in shower and a sitting area with sofa, desk, TV, refrigerator and safe. The room was air conditioned which was a big plus in these hot days. Both places, both sitting area and bedroom opened onto a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. At the back of the hotel you had a large communal terrace overlooking the garden. In the area there are many attractions such as the towns of Larresingle, Condom, La Bastide d'Armagnac and Montreal. In bad weather, eg can visit the Roman sites in and around Eauze and even Lourdes is only 100 km away. There is also always a possibility to visit an Armagnac farm. The hotel locks in the evening and you only have access with a code. From the garden of the hotel you can immediately enter the imposing city park and the distances to all available services in the village become even shorter than they already are by road. In the morning you will see spa guests walking permanently. Breakfast is buffet style and gives plenty of variety. If you want something special, they try to provide it as much as possible. For supper there is only one menu, you take it or you don't take it. Last time we were there the weather was bad and we were surprised by the adapted meals. Now it was sweltering hot and again we were surprised by the fresh kitchen of the hostess. She conjured up some things on the table that I had never eaten before. Just great. The area also lends itself to nice bike rides on low-traffic roads. With the heat I could only drive in the morning but you hardly or not encounter traffic on those small roads (I once counted 5 cars over a distance of 14 km). So the hotel is definitely worth a visit. If our health permits, we will return there. Beautiful Views, Quiet and Value for Money

Excellent old-fashioned family hotel in its juice with its red carpets located 160 meters from the thermal establishment through a very nice shaded park. The hotel has a lift, a relaxing library and is fully air conditioned, which is not insignificant during heat waves! In addition the rooms are extremely clean and the meals prepared by the boss are varied, balanced and very good; perhaps a downside, there is not enough fruit on offer. But that is quite negligible. And the owner, Pierre, is taking care of the curist guests, not to mention their daughter Alice who is... wonderful. Really, I recommend!
