Chateau de la Menaudiere

The property owner is bad times on several levels: not the right number of single beds, no wifi or very little, higher tourist tax, underequipped kitchen, dishwasher in an incredible state of filth, so dirty dishes, bathrooms to maintain. The site leaves an Impression of lack of maintenance despite the beautiful park and pleasant pool.

Particularly quiet hotel in the middle of a large park. The rooms are clean, with classic, country decor, quite large but the twin beds are particularly soft. Two windows did not close properly and neither did the shutters. The bathroom is adequate but the water was lukewarm in the evening then hot the next morning. No drinks or breakfast. No reception, just a cell phone to call, a person will come and give you your key which you will leave in an open box when you leave

Very beautiful place. There is only this, basic room requiring a good refreshment, bathroom linen at the bare minimum (2 towels). No catering or breakfast service. Info on nearby places very vague and unreliable.
