We booked a 5-night stay at Billie Hôtel Nantes, but our first night was unacceptable and unsafe. The room had a strong chemical odor that did not dissipate even after hours of ventilation. Once we closed the balcony due to the cold, both of us developed immediate physical symptoms—burning eyes and throat for me, and a severe allergic reaction for my husband, including difficulty breathing. The receptionist acknowledged the smell but refused to relocate us or provide basic accommodations such as an extra blanket. The only solution offered by the manager ( per receptionist words) was for us to sleep in the lobby, without blankets, despite us having paid for a room. As a result, my 63-year-old husband was forced to attempt to rest in the breakfast area, while I remained in the lobby. The receptionist said he would provide another room after 2 a.m.(?) and then disappeared to sleep somewhere himself. I stayed in the lobby, where I was expected to sleep on a sofa, and had to wake him at 2 a.m. to get help. Only then did he, half-asleep, give us keys to a different room. In the morning, there was no apology, no acknowledgment, and no effort to remedy the situation. We paid for a habitable room and instead were exposed to conditions that posed a clear health risk. This falls below the basic standards of hospitality and raises serious concerns regarding guest safety and duty of care.

Nice hotel, very well located, nicely decorated but the room lacked finishes. The cleanliness of the sdb is to be reviewed. In addition, the space in the room is very small. Otherwise, excellent welcome and pdj also.

Very nice hotel, well placed in the city center. Very friendly welcome. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable, with courtesy kettle and large shower. Only downside, a little light insulation, especially in the bathrooms, but that does not prevent a quality stay.
