Hotel Duquesne

We went to the Duquesne hotel as a family. Upon our arrival, we needed information regarding the partner parking, so we called the hotel in advance, but the person on the phone did not understand my request.... there was a difficulty in understanding our language. Upon our arrival at 5 PM, we were assigned a family room on the 5th floor. Once in the room, we had the unpleasant surprise of not having air conditioning.... it was 37 degrees outside and just as hot in the room. However, a fan was available to us, but sleeping under the roof at 37 degrees with the fan running meant that no one could close their eyes..... The next day, we had an appointment at the hospital, and a person from the hotel called me to ask for the parking card. I told him that the website indicated we had 24 hours of parking for 10 euros, so until 5 PM, but he told me no, that we had to return the card by noon.... Not to mention the unfriendly staff, the dreary room, the bedspread on the child's bed was stained, and it was impossible to read on the bed against the headboard because the box spring slid on the carpet....... In short, a nightmare....

I slept at this hotel one night. Its location is very convenient in the center of Nantes. Comfort is good, bedding comfortable and I slept very well. On the other hand the room, without any decoration on the wall and with a neon light on the ceiling as main light, was a sadness... I did not test breakfast, having decided to hang out in bed as late as possible.

We came two days to visit Nantes. One night at the Duquesne Hotel. Very satifait. Welcoming, clean hotel. SDB redone. Comfortable bed. Breakfast with choice. Ideal location for sightseeing in the city. Thanks again. Johann
