Saint Aignan

Decent little hotel in the center of Orléans. Needs a little refresh! Nevertheless, I recommend this establishment because of the very warm welcome from a gentleman at the reception, who was adorable, very kind, and welcoming. Breakfast service was very good, parking, quiet hotel. Reasonable price.

The hotel is set a 5-minute walk from Place Martroi. The hotel price is correct, so are the rooms. Check-in only opens at 16:00.

Well located, less than 10 minutes from the city center (place du Martroi). It has a large underground car park (10 euros) where you can only access after the reception. As you can’t stop in the narrow street next to the Pension I recommend parking under the gallery next to the shops and the Pension entrance. Be careful before arriving at the Pension. The reception is on the first floor and obviously the property owner, very helpful, is all alone for the reception, the escort to the parking and the breakfast service. Spacious room with a worktop large enough to work but rather Spartan decoration. Beautiful bathroom with a large bathtub, without shower curtain. Standard equipment for this Pension Class: TV, 1 chair, luggage stand, hairdryer, shampoos and soap. Breakfast with varied buffet (10 euros). We were never able to get orange juice. I hear we didn’t press the controller hard enough! I recommend this Pension for its location, Award (87 euros without breakfasts) and the quiet of some rooms.
