Hotel Belle Vue

We stayed at this hotel Thursday night and were very disappointed. Old-fashioned room, lack of cleanliness, and foul odor. We were also woken up around 6 a.m. by unusual noises coming from the room or the surroundings, then a second time around 7:30 a.m., this time by noises coming from the dining room located just above our room. Impossible to enjoy a restful night. For a 3-star hotel, the service is very far from our expectations. Photos to support this.

Hello. Above all, the advice I give you is not to book an ordinary room. Ask for at least a comfort room. In the ordinary room, there is a simple, very small fan, really very, very small. The room is really very small. The bed is not at all state-of-the-art, to say the least. And it is really quite dreary. On the hotel's listing, the photos are very beautiful. So, my advice is: definitely do not book an ordinary room. The shower head is defective. You get burned by the water, you take a cold shower; it's impossible to adjust the water correctly without risking getting burned. In short. Really disappointed with my experience. Furthermore, the elevator is not operational from about 11 p.m. until the morning.

On the positive side: the hotel is well located for visiting the region and in a quiet area. It is equipped with a pool and a parking lot. The owner is very welcoming and accommodating. On the more negative side: our room and bathroom were dated and could use a good renovation. No A/C so it's hot during heat waves despite a fan being available. And breakfast at $11 and $9 for children remains expensive in our opinion (it remains a very classic breakfast). In summary: good for a stopover but no more in our opinion
