Hotel Jean Moet & Spa

Great location. In the heart of everything if you are visiting for a champagne lover's time in Epernay. Hotel is very cute. The problem is with the staff and the service. We checked in about 8PM and the night lady had a real nasty bug. Not helpful at all. While the hotel is lovely it is not well thought out. Things like the bathroom set up around soaps and other things you need are very poor. It is a nice hotel but they should have more thought and creature comfort for the price.

Well situated high quality bed and breakfast hotel, with bar. Spacious room, excellent breakfast, friendly staff, good value

We had booked in here for one night. The hotel is very central and just around the corner from Rue de Champagne. So very easy to visit all the champagne houses. There are lots of bars nearby. The hotel is very impressive with a lovely entrance hall. We were allocated Room 1 which was huge! It definitely had the wow factor. The ceiling was very dramatic. Lovely furniture and soft furnishings. Everything was clean and very neat. Good selection of toiletries and extras. Lovely fluffy towels and robes. We opted to take the breakfast but were a bit sceptical due to previous reviews but the breakfast was amazing. It was served by a very nice lady who offered us cooked eggs as well as a full continental that was on offer. She also produced a large bread basket and a plate with a variety of ham and cheeses. There was also the usual cereals, breads and jams. All beautifully presented. So although it was €20 per head I would say it was excellent value for money. Overall we had a really lively stay. The only issue is the parking. We were lucky as we got a space outside and as it was Sunday it was free but you do have to pay from 9 am on a Monday morning.
