IBIS REIMS CENTRE

If you are looking for a no frills hotel close to the centre then this ticks the box. Next door to the train station and close to restaurants and shops. Friendly staff and the hotel/room was clean. Housekeeping could have come around more often but that didn't affect my stay.

Excellent Value in Reims, room very high standard, modern clean and a good size. Has most things you need. Friendly staff at check in. The Breakfast is Excellent, massive range of great food and drinks. Only thing is Hotel Signage, please improve it as this place is near impossible to locate from the road with a rear entrance.

I booked a room at this hotel to make a stop on my travel itinerary. I spent the most unbearable night in a long time! Certainly the room is correct, clean, standard bedding. Good, but the VMC (controlled mechanical ventilation)!!! I booked a room at this hotel to make a stop on my travel itinerary. I spent the most unbearable night in a long time! Admittedly the room is correct, clean, standard bedding. good, but the VMC (controlled mechanical ventilation)!!! A stir! Because at this sound level it is no longer noise, it is torture! Evidently discontinuously, like the sound of the bard mower coming you taunt the ears all night! I tried everything: earplugs pushed in full, head caulked under pillows. Nothing has done about it. Noise was running through everything. Impossible to close an eye, impossible to concentrate on anything else. A ruined night, a stolen rest, and the question that remains: how can we inflict this! The most mind-boggling? We pay for it. For a room, for a bed, for the promise of a night’s rest. But we end up with an involuntary torment, a sleepless night imposed by a poorly designed ventilation system. How do you explain to someone the next day that you didn’t sleep because of a noise that should never have existed? How can we justify why a hotel, a place dedicated to rest, can inflict such an ordeal on its guests? In the early morning, I left the room exhausted, with only one certainty: that night, I had paid not to sleep!
