Mercure Reims Centre Cathedrale

The property itself is fine. Rooms are modern and comfortable, and the gym and sauna facilities are good, although the hotel is a little outside the town centre. My overall experience was let down by a billing issue and how it was subsequently handled. I was charged a substantially higher price than the one displayed when I made the purchase, without the higher price being disclosed at the time. The hotel later acknowledged this lack of disclosure but declined to refund the difference. An otherwise adequate hotel, but the billing issue and subsequent handling mean I would be unlikely to return.

Good hotel, clean, not far from downtown. Also has a lovely restaurant.

We were only there for 1 night while passing through. Upon arrival, however, the room was not ready; we had to wait until about 6 PM. Too expensive for the few hours we were at the hotel. Breakfast was okay, but the staff was a bit chaotic. But perhaps that impression was misleading, as we were only there for a short time.
