Chateau De La Motte Fenelon

Not up to par, mediocre meal, tablecloth not clean, and what cutlery too, the dessert is on par with a cafeteria, meal at €52, I do not recommend this establishment

It is indeed a special experience to enjoy a relaxing evening on the park side with the wide view and the chateau at your back. Guests come from everywhere, the service is friendly and takes care of everyone with great dedication. Everything is like in France back in the day; even the small menu and the kitchen do their best. But we particularly enjoyed the entire ambiance, the quiet expanse, the friendliness, and pleasant conversations. Our room on the second floor was exceptionally spacious and elegantly furnished, a place to feel comfortable.

We necessarily like the packaging, this castle and a very period restaurant room with warm colors of the brick vaults... But the content significantly lowers the overall score. Nothing to say about the quantity, but much more about the quality and finesse of the dishes that are two or even three notches below. In a few words, dishes worthy of an average brewery but certainly not gourmet! And coffee at almost 4€ does not help to bring a price-quality ratio below the acceptable average. In summary, 4/5 for the frame and 2/5 for the restoration. Average: 3... Generous.
