Brilliant location right next to Lille Europe station and adjacent to public transport (75 bus great). Check in both efficient and pleasant (huge plus) allowed to access room at 11am. Room spacious and well equipped. On 4th floor near lift but no noise from lift or corridors over the three nights we visited. TV had streaming / cast ability as well as English language channels. USB / USB-C / sockets each side of bed. Did not try either breakfast or bar.

Two nights at the Hilton to visit friends in Lille before leaving for London. Very spacious and clean room. Well-equipped and quiet. Nice view of Lille. We didn't hear the noise of the city at all. I did not try the breakfast or the meals. Average welcome but overall very good and very convenient because it is a stone's throw from the Eurostar departure.

We stayed during the last week in July for 3 nights. Our impression was very mixed.
The communication prior to our stay and on arrival was very positive and we were pleased to be upgraded to a City View Executive King room.
The location is perfect being next to the Eurostar station.
The room on the 10th floor was delightful with a very comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with great shower and separate toilet. However the lack of a decent table seems a strange omission - there is only a very small round table, certainly insufficient for an executive room.
The real issue in the room that we experienced was the lack of replenishment of basics like tea, coffee and milk and we had to ask three times for the body lotion container to be replaced.
Previous guests have reported upon inadequacies with the Executive lounge and the issues have not been addressed. The level of food on offer was so poor on the two occasions that we visited - only two or three pieces of food and the drinks on offer were extremely limited - one bottle of Chardonnay (probably the worst white wine ever produced), one type of beer, no shorts on the first night. We have had much better food fare and way more alcohol offerings in Doubletree Executive rooms like the week before in London where the food offering was excellent and the level of drinks offered was extensive.
To be fair the staff were very good at providing the request for alternative wines and we did get a complimentary chicken goujon salad on the first night.
We firmly believe that the Executive room idea is a top Hilton facility but it needs to be done properly and taken seriously otherwise it's not worth having one.
The buffet breakfast was reasonable.
