We booked 3 nights in this hotel, out of the 7 nights spent in Paris. The reservation was made on the same day, after a long search on Booking in the Marais district, unfortunately with very few hotel options available at the last minute. During our extensive research, selecting a room for two adults (and an infant of 2 months) turned into a double room for a single person. We realized this after the payment and after receiving the confirmation email indicating a single person on the reservation. We reported it upon our arrival to "Mr. Concierge." To our great and unpleasant surprise, an additional charge of €120 was applied for the second adult for the 3 nights. Aside from the fact that the only difference between one adult in a double room and two adults is the amount of water used for a shower, and even though I understand the hotel's interest in maximizing its revenue, the cost for a second adult at the time of booking on Booking was less than €50 for the 3 nights. We are therefore far from the €120 charged by the hotel, which leaves a nice taste of a scam. As Mr. Concierge repeatedly stated: "hotel policy, with pleasure!" The second very negative point of this hotel is the poor quality breakfast and pastries worthy of supermarket industrial packages. Are we in a sad motel by the roadside or in the capital of France, famous for its gastronomy and croissants? I am not surprised that breakfast is free on Genius. Of course, we did not have breakfast at the hotel on the second and third days. There are many charming cafes in the area: do not waste your time or money and go there directly if you decide to stay at this hotel. The cleanliness of the hotel is acceptable. The location is central and close to a subway station, but with a night establishment just below.

The staff here are so friendly. This boutique hotel is metres away from the metro and a pleasant walk to notre dame. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and was happy to see the same people working here. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within a short stroll, comfy bed but the best asset here is the staff.

😊 - Friendly front desk who understand/speak good enough English to answer many questions. - Cute, clean room & big enough for me (solo traveler) but would’ve been a little too small for more than one person especially with suitcases (unless you’re a light traveler). - Room was decorated in a style that felt like older French aristocrats palace decor. - Small refrigerator in rooms - Breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh selections of fruits/veggies, boiled eggs, croissants, etc. The breakfast staff is very good with keeping its stocked even for late diners like me. - Loved the location in the 3rd arr. - Hotel is located in a cute neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and shopping. - 1/2 block to the metro station 🚉 line 3 & 11. ☹️ Bed was slight hard & uncomfortable but i eventually got use to it. My room was on the street side so it was a bit noisy with the bar staying open late and the street workers starting early. It didn’t bother me too much but if you’re a light sleeper ask for a room on the opposite side.
