Best Western Eiffel Auteuil

This hotel is situated quite well as long as you are happy to walk a bit and want to be out of the center of Paris. It is only a few minutes from the Seine but about 20 minutes from the Eiffel tower. The Hotel was quite clean, facilities were good to an extent, water, tea coffee. Breakfast was very nice, lovely OJ and scrambled eggs particularly, they also catered for GF which was most appreciated. BUT if booking my advice would be to check the location is suitable and ask not to be housed in room 804. The bed was very large and comfortable but the bathroom was made for the tiniest pixies ever known. Impossible to repose(ahem) on the toilet and shut the door as legs got in the way and the shower cubicle was so small that when you turn to close the screens you are very likely to turn the water off or down to freezing. If we had been staying any more than 2 nights we would asked to be moved. As expected the remote control had no back to it (a favourite midnight thought of mine is: what happens to all those remote control backs :0). Very limited options on the TV, as always most hotels are missing a trick by not having some radio and news/weather options on the tv's.

The hotel is well placed and inspires from the clichés on the sites and when you see the façade, but inside it is something else altogether. You have to come to terms with the noises of the neighboring rooms above, next door and try to find sleep... The lack of soundproofing is crippling, I don't advise. Otherwise nothing to say about cleanliness and sanitary facilities.
