I chose to stay at this property to celebrate my birthday, expecting a pleasant and memorable experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the complete opposite. Rather than feeling welcomed, valued, or cared for as a guest on a special occasion, I left feeling deeply disappointed and upset by the service I received. The most unacceptable part of the stay occurred on 22 June at approximately 23:30, when a member of the bar team refused a simple request for ice. Considering the warm weather and the fact that the room did not have a minibar or any facility to keep drinking water chilled, this was already disappointing and unnecessarily inflexible. However, what made the situation significantly worse was the manner in which it was handled. The response was not only unhelpful, but also exceptionally rude and dismissive. Hoping the situation could be resolved professionally, we approached the front office for assistance and spoke with a team member named Alexis. Unfortunately, rather than stepping in to support, de-escalate, or assist with a very basic guest request, he repeatedly redirected us back to the bar team and showed no real willingness to intervene. His attitude gave the clear impression that the situation was of no concern to him, which only added to the frustration and discomfort of the experience. This is not the level of service one should expect from Hilton. Hospitality is built on care, professionalism, problem-solving, and making guests feel welcome, particularly when they are celebrating an important occasion. On this occasion, there was no sense of warmth, no attempt to recover the situation, and no visible effort to deliver even a basic standard of guest care. Instead, the service made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. In addition, the breakfast offering was underwhelming and lacked the quality, presentation, and overall standard expected from the brand. Combined with the poor service experience, it reinforced the impression that this property is facing serious shortcomings in both guest care and operational standards. It is evident that there is a lack of training, empathy, and service professionalism among some team members at this property. Management should not tolerate this type of behaviour, as it is entirely inconsistent with the principles of hospitality and damaging to the guest experience. Urgent training and stronger leadership oversight are clearly needed to address these issues and ensure that guests are treated with courtesy, respect, and care. This was, without question, one of the worst Hilton experiences I have had. It is deeply disappointing that what should have been a special birthday stay instead became such an uncomfortable and upsetting experience.

This is by far the worst Hilton hotel I have stayed at so far. The hotel is like a maze, and finding the parking area or even your room is almost impossible. The building is very old, and both the service and staff guidance are inadequate. You can’t even reach the front desk from the room phone. The beds, however, are comfortable.

An establishment that wants to present a luxury image but is far from it. The dining experience is pathetic.
