Pavillon Republique Les Halles

Super well located hotel, next to the square of the Republic with several public transport nearby and very easy to get anywhere on foot. Large room for Paris. Well decoration.

My partner and I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is very nice, with an inviting lobby and self-service drinks at any hour. We stayed in a "Club" room, which was very good, with a large bathroom. So far, so very much what you would expect of the hotel from what you see from their website. However, it was the staff that made our stay particularly memorable. We had some minor issues with the room and the payment (the latter was our mistake, not theirs) and the staff did what they possibly could to fix it, always with a smile. I give the hotel 4 bubbles, but the 5th is for the staff!

Due to a train delay, we are late to check-out, after the Paris-Versailles race. I found they wouldn't let me go upstairs to pick up my bag if I didn't pay for the room for a full day. After talking to management, they agreed to let him come up free of charge. But I'VE BEEN CHARGED the room after saying they wouldn't.
