Ibis St Gratien Enghien Les Bains

I was very disappointed with the hotel as well as the staff and management. Upon my arrival at the hotel on June 16, 2026, for 2 nights. I mistakenly took the hotel key ring due to fatigue from my day. Two people from the hotel burst into my room at 11:30 PM and called me a thief. They even demanded that I return the keys and leave the hotel under the order of the hotel manager. Very frightened by what had just happened, I sent an email to the hotel manager on June 17, 2026, to explain the incident to her. She did not even bother to call me or send me an email in return. I find this inappropriate and disrespectful toward me, who I must specify is a "hotel guest." In addition to this incident, I was charged for two breakfasts at €14.90 even though the receptionist had confirmed to me upon my arrival that breakfast was not included in my reservation. I sent the email to the All Accord group, which asked me to deal directly with the hotel. That is what I did. As of today, July 17, 2026, I have no response from the hotel manager. I was just expecting an apology from them for their inappropriate behavior. The staff's attitude was unprofessional. They could have called me on my room phone and said: "Sir, you mistakenly took the hotel keys, could you please come down to the front desk to return them," I would have returned them and apologized for this mistake. They clearly saw on the hotel camera that I did not leave my room. This shows that I did indeed take the keys by mistake. So why did they call me a thief? I didn't sleep a wink all night!!! If the hostess who had greeted me hadn't left the hotel keys unattended and accessible to everyone, we wouldn't be in this situation. I talked about it to people around me and to another ibis styles hotel, and they all told me that the behavior of the two employees was inappropriate. In addition to this incident, I would like to give a negative review regarding the condition of the room and its faulty air conditioning.

Hellish stay. Honestly, I do not understand how this hotel can be in this condition. For an Ibis, the minimum would be a clean, functional, and well-maintained room. Here, we were very far from that. The room had several issues: dirty carpets, damaged or broken items, and an air conditioning unit that was practically unusable — it was impossible to tell if it was blowing hot or cold air. As a result: extremely difficult nights, stifling heat, impossible to sleep properly, I spent my time sweating. Very sincerely, this made the stay painful and exhausting. The access badges worked only half the time, which quickly became frustrating. We almost hesitated to leave the room for fear of not being able to get back in without having to ask for help again. The shower had very little pressure, making washing difficult. The toilets emitted an unpleasant odor. Several elements in the room appeared poorly maintained or damaged, giving an overall impression of neglect. I am attaching photos as they speak for themselves. It is truly unfortunate because despite all this, one point clearly deserves to be highlighted: the staff was impeccable. The team at the front desk was really very kind, smiling, welcoming, and always available to help. They demonstrated professionalism and tried to be present whenever there was a problem. Sincere thanks to them, as their attitude and kindness were the only positive part of this stay. Unfortunately, even with excellent staff, it is not enough to compensate for the state of the hotel and the conditions in which we slept. I do not recommend this establishment in its current state.

Great location because close to RER station and close to public parking. However, it would be advisable to give guests, along with the ticket that is sold at the hotel, a small document indicating precisely the procedure for using the car park. The oral explanations lack precision. We had just stayed in a hotel in the provinces with the use of public parking but the hotelier had given us a small document very precise, which made it easier for us to access and leave. At the ibis, we had problems with leaving the parking lot each time, 3 times in total. Regarding the breakfast, very hearty and in the spacious and pleasant room, we were very well received on Friday morning by a young woman. However, on Saturday and Sunday morning, it was a man who, after greeting us with a big hello, focused on his mobile phone. And I had to ask him to move away from the counter where the various teas were so I could serve myself. His attitude was not at all professional, a little too casual, it lacks seriousness. Too bad because we enjoyed the room, spacious and modern.
