Mercure Porte De Versailles Expo

A big thank you to the entire team at the Mercure Paris Porte de Versailles Expo hotel for a stay that, without hesitation, ranks among my best hotel experiences. From the moment you arrive, the tone is set: you are welcomed warmly, with a smile, by someone who is available and attentive. A special thank you to Hassan, whose welcome was impeccable. The setting also plays a big part: the lobby is simply sublime, the visual environment is polished and immediately makes you want to drop your bags. The room lived up to expectations. The bedding is excellent and the soundproofing is remarkable: I slept like a baby. It is hard to ask for better to get some real rest. Breakfast deserves a special mention: a magnificent and generous buffet, where there is truly something for everyone. You feel comfortable there, and it is a real pleasure to start the day like that. I would like to offer two small suggestions, in a purely constructive spirit, as the rest of the stay was so successful. First, on the morning of my departure, while I was still well within the check-out times, the housekeeper knocked on my door quite insistently quite early. A small detail, but if no one answers, it is probably better not to insist: the guest might simply still be enjoying their room. Next, being intolerant to cow's milk, I would have appreciated finding a plant-based alternative—oat or almond milk—at breakfast. This is no longer a rarity today, and for an establishment of this caliber, this little extra would be truly appreciated. But do not let these remarks mislead you: the overall experience was excellent, and I recommend this hotel without hesitation. Thanks again for this welcome and this quality stay.

Non-air-conditioned room while we are experiencing a heatwave. It was warmer in the hallway than in the room. When I called to report, I was sent away. We arrived at 7:30 PM after a professional convention, and the room keys were not ready. The place to have a drink is under a greenhouse, so it is stifling because it is also not air-conditioned. I was better accommodated the night before in Toulouse at the Ibis Budget near the airport. I do not recommend.

Bad location, it is far from the most touristy areas. Its breakfast menu is terrible, the rooms are not pleasant. The carpet in the hallways is a disaster for moving with suitcases.
