Park Lane Paris

Posting this while I am currently staying at Hôtel Park Lane Paris because management's refususal to resolve a deposit dispute in a clear, timely way. I have written evidence from the hotel showing both the cancellation terms and the amount paid: 1) A booking email from the hotel dated 24/10/2023 states the room type as “Double (Wheelchair accessible)” and the cancellation policy as: “no fees if the booking is cancelled at the latest 48 hours prior to the date of arrival, otherwise 1 night will be charged.” 2) A proforma invoice from the hotel dated 24/10/2023 (Reference KS12EFKK) shows a total of €6,351.84 for the stay 24/07/2024–02/08/2024. After the hotel received the funds, the booking was later treated as non-refundable. I did not agree to any change of terms after payment. I returned to the hotel to resolve this in person, but I’m being told it is up to the owner, MR ROMAIN RENOIR, to decide, and there is a clear reluctance to provide a written decision or timeline. I fly back to South Africa this Friday, so continued delays are not acceptable. I have asked for a written response by email and a clear deadline, but neither has been provided. If the hotel honors the cancellation terms stated in their own email and reimburses the deposit appropriately, I will update or remove this review.

All you can hear is the train lines under the hotel so don’t expect to sleep. Rooms small and dingy, would really not stay here again.

A wonderful boutique hotel in a fabulous location next to small bars and restaurants. Boom direct with the hotel to get amazing service from the friendly staff and team who looked after us during our stay. The added addition of the pool table in reception gave our visit even more entertainment after returning in the evening. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was lovely and even better that it was available until 10:30 for a leisurely morning. Ubers easily accessibly to all landmarks from the hotel door or within walking distance. It was our parents 80th birthday celebrations and the staff truly looked after them. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.
