The Westin Paris Vendome

My stay at The Westin Paris was extremely disappointing. The staff were inefficient and the service was well below the standard expected from a Westin hotel. Despite my Marriott Bonvoy Elite status, I received no meaningful recognition or benefits. The room was also surprisingly small, particularly considering the very high price charged. Overall, this hotel offers extremely poor value for money. Its location does not compensate for the inadequate service, lack of loyalty recognition and disappointing room. I would not recommend this property.

The hotel is quite dated, however the location close to Place Vendome is unique. The hotel then has an interesting structure, with an enclosed courtyard with a conservatory where events and cocktails are often organized. The rooms are spacious enough. Overall a hotel that if booked with some offer (it is a 4 star but can easily get to cost like a 5 star depending on the period) is absolutely worth it.

You simply cannot beat the location. Nestled between the Louvre and Place Vendôme, it’s walking distance to many of Paris’s major landmarks, metro stations, and high-end shopping. Perfect for first-time visitors or anyone wanting to explore central Paris on foot. ”Normal” shopping isn’t around the corner, about 20 min walk you can reach Zara, HM, galerie laffayette etc. The decor of the hotel was classic. While the room was charming, some of the furnishings felt a bit dated, and the bathroom could use a refresh. We stayed in a two room suite but the rooms didn’t have proper closets. Room service was fast and food was better than expected.
