My wife has stayed here since she was a child and I have for the last 15+ years whenever we pass through Calais. Always a very good standard with a good breakfast and an underground car park if required. Only downside is that the hotel has no restaurant our favourite (Cafe de Paris) has permanently closed. We need to find a better alternative that the one we tried this year!

The hotel is a good option for travelers using the ferry to Dover, as it is only a few minutes' drive from the port. Parking in the area is limited, so it is worth reserving a space in the hotel's garage. However, accessing the garage can be quite challenging, and you need to call the hotel to have the gate opened. The hotel does not offer dinner service, but there are several restaurants nearby. The rooms are showing clear signs of wear and tear, so it is best not to expect too much.
