Campanile Calais

I stayed for one night on the 10th April, room 18. A very poor check in, a completely lack of information regarding the hotel, also charge me €3 for the parking saying that is a new thing, however when I made the booking parking was for free, should I be informed regarding the new tariff for the parking. I think the receptionist was more interested in smoking, talking to the mobile and do her laundry than provide a good customer service. I'll not stay again, beside that the rooms facing the road are extremely noisy. This is a genuine review.

We booked a PMR room being both handicapped but NOT in a wheelchair In the bedroom: NO storage space for our clothes. We were told that space was provided for a wheelchair. So people with disabilities should not change.....right? In addition, on arrival, we are announced a 3rd/night rate for our vehicle When you are PMR, you are a little FORCED to park near the room. You will not walk 200m to park outside when you have difficulty walking.. For us, it's RACKET!!! To be reviewed by the general management of Campanile!!! As for the reception....really average We're not going back! To flee for PMRs

We tested, we will not go again: very fair and expensive for an aging hotel badly despite good bedding Attention paid parking on site 3€/night per car Lack of storage just hangers no shelf in the cabinet. One coat rack in the bathroom Missing a bedside table just a tiny one Need refreshment painting and maintenance: stains on walls, skirting boards that detach from the wall, broken shower column so shower head in hand Heating toaster in the bathroom very mediocre and dirty Lack of maintenance in the bedroom: cobwebs, dust +++ above the cabinet, very dirty mvc mouth Room heating system is to be guessed, no instructions or instructions, figures and thermostat writings erased, radiator no better Lack of electrical outlets plan a multi-outlet
