Adagio Access Clermont Ferrand - Gerzat

My dad has been driving for six hours to get to Euro camp so we need to have a night in a hotel for a break. We were only staying one night before continuing our journey down south of France. There’s hairs on the bed, the fridge was leaking something and there is spiders all over the place. On the other hand there’s positives, if you’re looking for dinner, there’s a restaurant which takes about a two minute walk to get to and I slept really well this night. Does it deserve all the hate? Not quite… 3 stars

The photos on the homepage are from better times, the reality on the ground is different: worn out, dirty, broken. The fridge was dirty upon our arrival, the pots sticky when touching, we preferred to go to the restaurant for dinner than cook ourselves as planned. It is much too hot to sleep, fans only partially work. You are not asked at check-out what it was like, maybe you already know the answer.

August 2026 vacation: Big disappointment! - A bathtub without a non-slip mat which caused us to fall. - Curtains but no shutters in the bedrooms. - Average insulation. - No drying rack but after asking they gave us one. - An oven without an oven mitt, nice for taking out the chicken! - A closet without hangers so it's useless. - A poor quality sponge. - A nest of dead bugs coming out of an outlet when we unplugged the microwave. - No cupboard to store groceries. - Nowhere to put the coffee maker, forced to put it on the stairs next to the outlet. - no vacuum cleaner - 1 dishwasher tablet but not enough silverware to rotate and therefore use the dishwasher - missing a large knife. The pool is smaller than it looks with quite a few people, footbath not very clean, but the water is good. Given the size of the site, it's a shame there isn't a children's play area. The staff is friendly. It would be nice to put a keypad near the cars to avoid having to go down every time.
