Best Western Lafayette

This hotel is located directly opposite the De Clermont Ferrand train station. This is very practical and that is why we often get there at the same time as the train controllers. It is a great hotel that has kept a family atmosphere. We forget that we are in a chain of the Accor group. Of course quality standards are present but there is a little extra stuff. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is varied and bin organized. The real strength of this hotel is the quality of its staff. From the night watchman to the maid to the reception and breakfast team, the whole team is smiling, available and helpful. Happy to return very soon. I highly recommend this property.

This was a decent and pleasant hotel in a good location. It had very good parking too. The room was pleasant, with a local theme and comfortable. The only issue I had was with the drainage of the shower which could be improved. The breakfast (included) was ample and tasty

Disappointed with this property. You must control your bill because you are counted with unjustified surcharges. On the other hand, dirty towels resting loose on the bathroom door. The next day the room that was not made. Welcoming response: the staff did not read the label on the door handle properly! We were offered new towels or change rooms. Finally we moved ourselves to another room with a single towel for 2 people. For breakfast, no more glass for fruit juice. You are given an empty coffee cup instead to drink the juice. The receptionist opens access to the car park without control. At €9.50 per night there is no security. Some of the staff at this hotel need to be changed! Where is the usual perfection of Ibis? Even at Ibis budget it was better. We are disappointed and hesitant to change to another hotel chain.
